About Fourfront
Fourfront Microfinance Limited is a microfinance company based in Muhanga Town, Rukiga District, Uganda. It works with women organized in groups, helping them access small loans for income-generating ventures.
Fourfront Microfinance Limited exists to make productive finance more accessible to women who are already working, trading, farming, and building small ventures in their communities. By working through organized women groups, Fourfront supports responsible borrowing, peer accountability, and practical investment in activities that can improve household income.
The Challenge
Many women in rural and semi-urban communities have business ideas, skills, and small ventures, but they often lack access to affordable and appropriate capital. This limits business growth, household income, and resilience.
Women with viable ventures often struggle to access financing that matches their realities.
Many small enterprises operate outside traditional banking requirements but still need capital to grow.
Small income-generating activities play a major role in school fees, food security, healthcare, and family stability.
Our Approach
Fourfront's model is simple, practical, and close to the communities it serves.

Fourfront works with women through organized groups, encouraging peer accountability and collective discipline.
Members receive loan support designed to help them invest in practical income-generating ventures.
Loans are used to support activities such as trading, farming, produce businesses, retail, tailoring, food vending, and other local enterprises.
Group accountability encourages repayment discipline while members grow their ventures and improve household resilience.
We believe microfinance works best when it is close to the community, built on trust, and connected to real economic activity.

Community-Based Model
Fourfront works close to the communities it serves through group meetings, peer accountability, local engagement, and field-based monitoring. This local presence helps ensure that loan support remains connected to real livelihood activity.
